Job description

We seek a motivated, data-driven leader to head up a new strategic commercial initiative within our organization. This individual will define and execute a go-to-market plan, coordinate cross-functional efforts, drive revenue growth, and manage key partnerships. The role combines analytics, project ownership, catalog management, sales strategy, and continuous optimization to ensure the commercial success of a new internal project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution

    • Define and drive the commercial roadmap for a new business initiative, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

    • Develop, implement, and monitor KPIs to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and optimize the initiative’s growth.

  • Project Management

    • Oversee long term product strategy to support growth on this new initative.

    • Coordinate with product, marketing, tech, and other teams to ensure timely, efficient execution.

  • Commercial & Partnerships

    • Identify and negotiate with potential partners to expand product and service offerings.

    • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and new stakeholders, ensuring favorable terms and strategic alignments.

  • Sales & Go-to-Market

    • Design and execute sales strategies, including pricing models, promotional campaigns, and distribution channels.

    • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling go-to-market strategies that resonate with target customers.

  • Data & Analytics

    • Develop and maintain robust analytics frameworks to track performance across product lines, user acquisition, and revenue streams.

    • Use insights from data to pivot tactics, optimize the product catalog, and drive continuous improvement in conversion and sales growth.

  • Financial Management

    • Manage budgeting and forecasting for the new initiative, balancing revenue goals with cost efficiencies.

    • Oversee financial tracking and reporting to ensure profitability and long-term sustainability.

  • Team Leadership

    • Potentially recruit and lead a small cross-functional team, providing guidance, feedback, and mentorship.

    • Foster a collaborative culture that promotes innovation, accountability, and excellence.

Job requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in one of the following area: commercial management, strategic business development, or e-commerce operations.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to navigate both high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

  • Perfect English skills, German and/or French are a great advantage.

  • Extreme self-starter, a hands-on mentality with a passion for building, and scaling this project to a new revenue driver for Salonkee
