Job description
We’re looking for an Inside Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale a high-performing inside sales team from the ground up for a new product we are launching. This team will be responsible for selling our offering to our existing client base - salon owners - helping them unlock new value and opportunities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, enjoys building processes from scratch, and can balance operational execution with strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and develop an inside sales team to drive the adoption of our product among existing customers.
Set up scalable processes, tools (CRM, reporting, automation), and performance metrics.
Lead by example - rolling up your sleeves to refine scripts, jump on customer calls, and close deals when needed.
Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and optimise team efficiency.
Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success to refine the go-to-market approach.
Define and implement the sales playbook, including messaging, outreach sequences, and objection handling.
Ensure a consultative sales approach that builds long-term relationships with salon owners.
Job requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience in inside sales leadership, ideally in a high-growth startup or fast-scaling business.
A track record of building and scaling an inside sales team.
Strong leadership skills - the ability to coach, inspire, and get the best out of a team.
Hands-on & operational - willing to get involved in the day-to-day while also thinking strategically.
Analytical mindset - comfortable with data, metrics, and optimising processes for efficiency.
Experience in B2B sales (selling to SMEs or salon owners is a plus).
Excellent communication skills in English and either German or French - both for internal leadership and external customer engagement.
Extreme self-starter, a hands-on mentality with a passion for building, and scaling this project to a new revenue driver for Salonkee
